Madrid was part of the same European customer story tour as Utrecht, Milan and Stockholm for our HR tech client.
Customer testimonials with broll at the customer's office, single shoot day per location.
Look-out for Madrid: Spanish business culture means meetings tend to start a bit later in the morning, so a 9 AM call time is fine but a 7 AM is going to be a struggle, especially on Mondays.
Lunch on a Madrid shoot day is sacred and tends to run longer than what you might be used to in Northern Europe, plan your schedule to either eat with the crew or build a real lunch break into the day.
English-speaking crew exists but is not as common as in some other European capitals, so confirm crew language requirements upfront.
Permits for public locations can take time, but for office-based interview shoots it is straightforward.
Madrid traffic is bad at peak hours and the metro is a faster bet for getting around the city than a taxi.
Power and venue infrastructure are reliable.
Lighting note: Madrid sun is harsh and most office windows let in a lot of natural light, so come prepared to balance that with strong key lighting or shoot on the side of the building that doesn't get afternoon glare.
