We covered a leadership and education conference in Panama City for a multi-brand software group, late May 2025.

Event highlight video plus event photography, with extra coverage of the breakout sessions and networking moments.

The client wanted the energy of the rooms, not just speaker shots, so we briefed the crew on the ground to lean into candid networking and coffee bar moments.

There was a pop-up coffee station called Bean Around the World inside the venue, that footage made it into the final cut and the client loved it.

Look-out for Panama: the local production scene is small but solid, English-speaking crew is available but you have to ask for it specifically, otherwise you might end up with a Spanish-only team which slows briefings.

Humidity is no joke, your gear and your crew need water and shade between sessions, especially if you go outside for B-roll.

Most international hotel venues have decent power and Wi-Fi so livestreaming is doable, but always test the upload speed the day before.

Panama City traffic gets bad around 5 PM, so wrap your shoot day before that or budget extra hours to get back across the bridge to the hotel district.

The client was happy enough to come back to us for their next event in Copenhagen, which is the kind of feedback I like.
