A familiar setup for a new event
Some clients ask for a brand-new plan every time. Hi Impact Media didn't need one. When this event came up in Paris, the brief was refreshingly simple: same setup as our other highlight films. No reinventing the approach, no new gear list to work out from scratch, just the proven kit and workflow that's already delivered for them before, run again for a new event.
We covered the full event window, from 1:30pm through to around 7pm, with a bit of buffer on either side, using the same reliable combination that's become Hi Impact Media's standard: a Sony FX3 for a clean, cinematic look, a gimbal to keep coverage moving fluidly through the event, an LED light for consistency wherever the natural light wasn't enough, and lapel mics to catch clear audio wherever the moment called for it. One videographer, one familiar setup, running the whole afternoon into evening solo.
A repeatable production approach
That kind of repeat trust is its own kind of case study. It means the formula already works, tested across multiple events and proven enough that Hi Impact Media doesn't need to second-guess the approach anymore, just point us at the next event and let the same reliable setup do what it already does well.
