A repeatable setup for fifteen interviews

Some campaigns are built around one big story. Coffee Confessions was built around fifteen small ones, individual, personal interviews from people across the coffee industry, filmed over two half-days in Brussels to launch on International Coffee Day. The brief called for something deceptively simple, a clean, natural talking-head setup, good lighting, clear audio, nothing to distract from the person actually talking, but running fifteen interviewees through that same clean format across two half-days meant every setup had to be fast, consistent, and repeatable.

We built the shoot around a straightforward, reliable rig, a single camera operator, one high-quality 4K camera, and a three-point lighting package designed to make each interviewee look and sound their best without slowing the day down between sit-downs. With fifteen different people cycling through the same setup, consistency mattered as much as quality, every "confession" needed to feel like part of the same series, not fifteen separate productions stitched together after the fact.

One campaign, multiple edits

The real shape of the campaign came together in-house during editing. Each participant got their own individual cut, giving the ECF a full library of standalone stories to draw from, while the material was also compiled into a single 2-3 minute mashup video built for LinkedIn, with vertical cuts and the ECF's own branded lower thirds applied throughout to keep everything on-brand. That range, individual voices and one collective story, gave the ECF content flexible enough to post one confession at a time or let the whole chorus land together on International Coffee Day.
