Sustaining coverage across twelve days
Hi Impact Media came back to us again, this time for a different kind of challenge entirely: full photography coverage across all twelve days of UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, one of the major UN conferences on the global calendar, running far longer and in a far more remote setting than a typical one or two-day event brief.
A twelve-day assignment is its own discipline. It's not about one great shot, it's about sustaining consistent, high-quality coverage day after day across nearly two full weeks, tracking the rhythm of a major international conference as it unfolds, sessions, delegations, moments between the formal proceedings, all while working far from home in Mongolia. A single photographer carrying that kind of coverage alone means pacing the work carefully, staying sharp on day twelve the same way they were on day one.
A complete visual record
It's the kind of assignment that reflects a different side of what we do: not just fast, high-impact single-day shoots, but the endurance and consistency to cover a major global event from opening to close, giving Hi Impact Media a complete visual record of COP17 across its full run in Ulaanbaatar.
